Abstract
Like many libraries, we have experienced little growth while our university’s population has exploded. As a result of this imbalance, our already stretched librarians were unable to meet the library instruction demands of all First Year programs. Drawing inspiration from MOOCs, our solution was to live-broadcast interactive orientations to over 3,000 students through 32 prescheduled sessions. LOOP (Library Online Orientation Program) has allowed us to reach more students than ever before without increasing our workload.
