About Zhishan Guo

Dr. Zhishan Guo is a tenure-track assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science at Missouri University of Science and Technology, where he directs the Real-Time Systems Lab. The lab currently consists of 5 Ph.D. students, 3 M.S. students, and 1 undergraduate student. Dr. Guo is also an associate investigator in the Intelligent Systems Center at MST.

He received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2016. Prior to that, he received the Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Technology from Tsinghua University (China) in 2009 and the M.Phil. Degree in Mechanical Automation and Engineering from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2011.

Dr. Guo's current research interests include Real-Time Systems, Real-time scheduling, Cyber-physical systems, Internet of Things, Machine Intelligence and Neural networks and their applications.
