About Zhenjiang Qin
Zhenjiang Qin is an Associate Professor at Institute of Financial Studies, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, China. He holds a BS in mathematics and applied mathematics, and MS in probability and statistics from Central South University, China, and received his Ph.D. from Aarhus University in Denmark. His dissertation is titled by "Essays on Heterogeneous Beliefs, Public Information, and Asset Pricing". It shows that both imperfect public signals and derivatives have potential to facilitate speculative positions, to improve allocation efficiency of financial markets, and to improve investor welfare. His research interests lie in asset pricing theory, investment theory and financial economics.
