Assistant Professor, Communication
Liu was born and raised in Kunming, China. She was an awarding winning journalist who worked for news organizations in Beijing, Hong Kong and the United States, including Beijing Youth Daily and the South China Morning Post. She has had hundreds of articles published in about a dozen newspapers and magazines in the U.S., China and Hong Kong. She also was invited to be a guest blogger for China Digital Times. Her scholarly work has appeared in several academic journals and books. Prior to joining Trinity, she worked as the Academic Affairs Marketing Specialist at Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas. She is the mother of two children.
