Mr. Zeenat Shah is working as a Senior Instructor at Professional Development Centre, North a unit of the Aga Khan University Institute for Educational Development (AKU-IED), Karachi. He has 15 years of school teaching in private education sector of Gilgit-Baltistan and 13 years experience as a teacher educator at PDCN. Besides teaching English, Mathematics and Educational Leadership and Management, he also has rich experience of leading educational projects in Gilgit-Baltistan. He has received Best Teacher Award-2017 for his successful implementation of educational projects in the region. Moreover, he has been instrumental in having access to Diamer district, a conservative and resistant to change context of Gilgit-Baltistan to work on education for both boys and girls. He is passionate to improve students’ learning achievements and promote quality of education in the region. He has contributed in knowledge dissemination through publications of research studies on teachers’ values in international journals.
