About Zachary Suriano

Dr. Suriano joined the University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO) faculty in August of 2018. He earned his Ph.D. in Climatology and M.S. in Geography from the Department of Geography at the University of Delaware. Prior, he graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a B.S. in Environmental Science. Dr. Suriano's primary research interests are in connecting spatial and temporal scales in the atmosphere to help explain and predict the occurrence of high-impact meteorological and hydological events, such as snowmelt flooding, drought, and lake-effect snowfall.
