DECORATION: The vessel body has an engraved and vertically-oriented scroll and circle motif repeated four times around the vessel. The large central circles have a smaller swastika-in-circle element within them. Above and below the central engraved circles are either large rectangular or curvilinear engraved zones; the rectangular zones have cross-hatched triangles at the corners, while the curvilinear engraved zone has negative ovals outlined by cross-hatching. A final engraved element in the decoration of this body are smaller engraved circles with four excised rays within a diamond-shaped area on either side of the large central circle and swastika-in-circle motif. A red clay pigment has also been rubbed in the engraved lines.
