DECORATION (INCLUDING MOTIF AND ELEMENTS WHEN APPARENT): The rim has a continuous negative curvilinear scroll motif repeated six times around the vessel; the negative scrolls are created by excising selected areas of the red-slipped surface. To either side of the negative scrolls are six small negative circle elements.
