DECORATION (INCLUDING MOTIF AND ELEMENTS WHEN APPARENT): The vessel body, defined at the top by two horizontal engraved lines and by one horizontal engraved line at the bottom, has an engraved scroll motif repeated four times around the vessel. The motif consists of two arms of a scroll that encircle each other and meet at a central excised circle. The scrolls have a wider hatched area where the arms near the central excised circle.

The scroll arms originate from the apex of large engraved pendant triangles at the top and bottom of the body. The triangles have excised corners and a central slash mark.
