EXTERIOR SURFACE COLOR: brown (7.5YR 4/3)

WALL THICKNESS (RIM, BODY, AND BASE IN MM): 6.4 mm, rim; 6.3 mm, body

INTERIOR SURFACE TREATMENT: smoothed

EXTERIOR SURFACE TREATMENT: burnished

DECORATION: The rim panel has an engraved interlocking horizontal scroll motif repeated four times around the vessel. The middle and lower horizontal scroll lines have small triangular tick marks on them. A red clay pigment has been rubbed in the engraved lines.
