INTERIOR SURFACE TREATMENT: smoothed on the upper neck

EXTERIOR SURFACE TREATMENT: burnished

DECORATION: The vessel body has alternating concentric circle (centered on the body peaks) and diamond elements repeated four times each; these elements are centered over the body peaks. The engraved diamonds have a small central circle within them, while the concentric circles are comprised of three engraved circles, one of which has triangular tick marks. Above each set of concentric circles is a curvilinear fill zone with two negative ovals and hatched lines; one of the negative ovals has a small engraved spur within it. A red clay pigment has been rubbed in the engraved lines.
