About Yuanlong Liu PhD

Dr. Yuanlong Liu is a professor of the Department of Human Performance and Health Education at Western Michigan University. Dr. Yuanlong Liu served as the Editor-in-Chief for the Measurement in Physical Education and Exercise Science (2006-2009). He is now serving as the section editor for Exercise Science. Dr. Liu is a research fellow of AAHPERD and received the Measurement and Evaluation Honor Award. His main research interests are the measurement and evaluation issues in allied health, education, physical performances, statistical issues in repeated measurements, computer simulation and application in measurement and evaluation, instrument validation in education, health and exercise related fields, and effectiveness of competition structures in sports.Dr. Liu has published numerous peer reviewed publications and involved funded resarch and evaluation grant work. He is also the one of the most active members of ICSPAH and received ICSGAH service award. Dr. also served as a faculty senator for six years in WMU.
