About Yofi Tirosh

Dr. Yofi Tirosh is a Senior Lecturer at the Tel Aviv University Faculty of Law. She earned her LL.B. from the Hebrew University, and her LL.M. and SJD from the University of Michigan Law School, where she served as a fellow at Michigan's Humanities Institute. Before joining the Israeli Bar, she clerked for Hon. Justice Mishael Cheshin at Israel's Supreme Court.
After spending 2007 at NYU Law School as a Hauser Global Research Fellow, she joined Tel Aviv University, where she teaches employment and labor law, jurisprudence, antidiscrimination law, body and law, food law, and feminist legal theory.
In September 2012 she served as a Visiting Professor at Georgetown Law Center.
Dr. Tirosh is a board member of Israeli human rights NGOs, including Itach-Maaki: Women Lawyers for Social Justice, and Tmura: The Israeli Antidiscrimination Legal Center. She is a regular commentator in her areas of expertise to leading media venues in Israel.
