About Xueying Chen

Xueying Chen is a Donation Coordinator and Collection Development Librarian at the L. V. Johnson Library at Kennesaw State University (KSU). She holds a MLIS (Master of Library and Information Science) from Louisiana State University and a MA in Sociology from University of Arkansas.
Prior to joining the KSU Library System, she served in various capacities at Chattahoochee Valley Community College which allowed her to gain valuable knowledge and experience in many dimensions of librarianship.
As a Donation Coordinator and Collection Librarian at KSU, her primary duties include coordinating donations, leading or assisting the Director of Collection Development with collection maintenance projects, providing reference and library instruction, outreaching to the liaison departments of the Computer Science and Information Technology departments, and Software Engineering & Game Development. Her research interests include collection assessment and library technology.
