About Yantian Hou

Dr. Yantian Hou joined the Department of Computer Science at Boise State University in 2016, and is currently an Assistant Professor. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Utah State University, and an M.S. and B.S. both in Electrical Engineering from Beihang University in China. Dr. Hou previously worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Arizona in its Wireless Network and Cyber Security Research (WiSeR) lab. His research interests are in the areas of mobile computing and cloud computing security, which includes: message integrity protection and initial key establishment for mobile devices of insecure wireless channel; coexistence of heterogeneous wireless mobile devices; searchable encryption and computation on encrypted data.
