Finite Element Numerical Simulation for Propagation of Concrete Crack Process

Abstract
This paper introduces an implementation method for numerical simulation of crack process of concrete structure by means of extended finite element method (XFEM) in combination with Fictitious Crack Model (FCM). The paper simulates the crack process of unilateral stretching concrete slabs and three-point bending concrete beams, emphasizing on inspection for influences of initial crack length and concrete cracking energy on crack characteristics of concrete slabs and beams.The calculation result shows that the parameters mentioned above have obvious influences on crack characteristics of concrete slabs and beams.

介绍用扩展有限元法结合虚拟裂缝模型对混凝土结构进行开裂过程数值模拟的实现方法.对单向拉伸混凝土板和三点弯曲混凝土梁进行开裂过程模拟,重点考察初始裂纹长度、混凝土断裂能对混凝土板和梁开裂特性的影响.计算结果显示,以上参数对混凝土板和梁的开裂特性都有明显影响.
