Abstract
This study assesses the availability of Physical Education (P.E.) learning resources in forty selected secondary schools in the Uasin Gishu District of Kenya. A descriptive survey was adopted to identify the level of adequacy of the learning resources. A questionnaire was used. The results revealed that there was an inadequate provision of the learning resources, especially the reading materials. Satisfactory levels of provision of equipment and outdoor facilities were noted. A narrow scope of emphasis on the sports of soccer, volleyball and athletics was pointed out. The study concludes that the inadequate provision of learning resources and the limited number of sports provided adversely affect the learners' experience in the learning process.
