About Worlanyo E. Gato

I teach Biochemistry at Georgia Southern University. Pursue research in the areas of susceptibility to metabolic syndrome (insulin resistance) – developmental origin of disease, role of environmental chemical exposure in the induction of type-2 diabetes and pancreatic cancer and fate and chemodynamics of nanomaterials. Chemical Education research in the employment of pedagogical approaches to improving student learning outcomes.
Teaching General Chemistry and Biochemistry. Biochemical Research using toxicological, genomics and epigenetics tools to investigate diabetes in children and pancreatic cancer. I also have skills in Grant Writing, Molecular Biology, Various Instruments including GCMS, HPLC, UV/Vis, ICPMS and Gene Expression Instrumentation.
