About Winston E. Langley

A professor of political science and international relations since 1982, Winston E. Langley served as Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs from 2009 to 2017, and as Interim Provost from 2008 to 2009. A scholar with a rich, diverse academic background and a seasoned administrator, he has been instrumental in defining and developing UMass Boston’s identity as a student-centered, urban public research university with a teaching soul.
