Notes of a small-group teacherJ Gen Inter Med (1991)
AbstractFor six years, I've worked in small-group teaching of medical students in a course called "Patient/Doctor Relationships. ''1 At Harvard Medical School, all students take this course in the first and third years of medical school. Small groups of six to eight students and three faculty meet weekly for two hours to cover the curriculum. Over 200 faculty--from the departments of medicine, social medicine, psychiatry, pediatrics, and surgery--participate.
