Abstract
Fred E. Bailey, and family members, made and sold fishing flies and spinners in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine from at least 1890 until 1948. This article documents the types of flies and spinners made by the Baileys during their more than six decades of business. Bailey's tackle was high quality and he was especially known for his four spinners: the Bailey, the Rangeley, the Moosehead, and the Hook Gang. This article is illustrated to help readers identify Bailey products.
