The National Fishing Lure Collectors Club Magazine
(2018)
Abstract
Henry O. Stanley (1829-1913) of Dixfield was Maine's longest serving Fisheries Commissioner. He also invented and manufactured four fishing lures; specifically, the Rangeley Spinner, the State of Maine Spinner, the Stanley Aluminum Smelt, and the Cupsuptic Spinner. This article updates the two articles published by Krohn and Hirsch in the winter 2013 issue of The National Fishing Lure Collectors Club Magazine.
