Abstract
This bibliography contains information sources documenting the early experiences of people who fished, hunted, and trapped the Magalloway River and adjacent area. This document includes information sources including books and booklets, maps, periodicals, and railroad pamphlets. Of special interest are a number of information sources about the Parmachneee fishing and hunting club, including a rare 1897 map of the Magalloway River and Rangeley Lakes drainages prepared by Henry W. Poor for members of the Parmachenee Club. This bibliography also includes a list of photographs taken of this area in the late 1890s by Edwin R. Starbird, a professional photographer who specialized photographing the sights and people of the Maine woods.
