Abstract
Invented and made in Auburn, Maine, Murray's Aluminum Minnow received a U.S. Patent in on 10 June 1906. In addition to describing this lure, this article briefly discusses the life of the lure's inventor, William R. Murray (1870-1933).
Illustrations of the original Murray's Aluminum Minnow, a lure that matches the inventor's patent drawings, are shown in Krohn (2020, December).
