About William Hubbard

William Hubbard has been a member of the faculty since 2009. His teaching interests include Civil Procedure, Copyright Law, International Intellectual Property, Patent Law, Property Law, Trademark Law and Trade Secret Law.

Hubbard's scholarship explores and analyzes the complex effects of patent law on the U.S. and global economies. His articles have appeared in the Arizona Law Review, Boston College Law Review, Connecticut Law Review, Florida Law Review and Santa Clara Computer & High Technology Law Journal.

Hubbard received his law degree from Yale Law School. After graduation, he clerked for the Hon. Robert Sack of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Hubbard then practiced intellectual property litigation for five years with Alston & Bird LLP in Atlanta, where his practice involved trials, appeals and arbitrations involving patent, trademark and antitrust issues.
