About William Taylor

Dr. Bill Taylor is currently an Associate Professor of Public Health. He is also the Director of Recruitment and Retention for the College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences. Dr. Taylor has served the University since 2004. Over his 40-year career in pharmacy he has excelled in clinical, ambulatory, and administrative pharmacy. During this time he has served as a faculty member at Duke University, the Medical College of Georgia and the University of South Alabama. He has experience in the clinical laboratory industry, the FDA, home infusion. Dr. Taylor also worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 17 years with the last 7 years as President/COO of Synthon. He is a published author of over 50 publications and two textbooks. His current research interests include healthcare disparities and health literacy.
