Dr. Wesley Burnett currently serves as Assistant Professor of economics at the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC. Dr. Burnett’s research emphasizes the applications of applied microeconomic theory to solving and analyzing problems in environmental economics and policy.
His primary research focus is: applied microeconomics, energy economics, environmental economics, policy, regional science, and econometrics.
Professional Affiliations: American Economics Association, U.S. Association of Energy Economics, Agricultural and Applied Economics Association, Southern Economics Association, North American Regional Science Council, Southern Regional Science Association, and the Council of Energy Research and Education Leaders.
