About Wenqing Hu

Dr. Wenqing Hu is currently an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Missouri University of Science and Technology (formerly the University of Missouri--Rolla). He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a B.S. from the School of Mathematical Sciences, Peking University. Prior to joining Missouri S&T, Dr. Hu worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at the School of Mathematics, University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.

Dr. Hu's research interests include Probability: Stochastic Analysis, Stochastic Dynamical Systems, (Stochastic) Partial Differential Equations; and Statistics: High-Dimensional Statistics, Stochastic Approximation and Optimization.
