Abstract
Healthcare Robots is regarded as a promising solution to solve many problems in an aging society. However, it hasn’t been discussed how best to implement the concept of Ethically Aligned Design (EAD) into the design, manufacture, and use of assistive robotics. EAD is a guideline to ensure the usage and development of AI and autonomous systems are not violating human centered value system. Accompanied with the rapid growth trend of AI technologies, this will bring new impacts to healthcare robots. In this paper, we want to make a systematic analysis to see how AI can influence the ELSI to healthcare robots.
