Abstract

In this paper, we consider the case of two carrier types (i.e. electrons and holes) in the same hydrodynamic model where the equations of energy conservation are eliminated by assuming a pressure-density relation. The model under consideration in one spatial dimension consists of the following equations. See, e.g. [l-3,6] for details on derivation of the model
