About Wei Xue

Dr. Xue's group studies materials, devices, and systems at the micro- and nano-scale. Our primary research interests are in the areas of microsensors, microelectronics, microfluidics, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), MEMS modeling, micro/nanofabrication, and nanotechnology. By using nanomaterials such as carbon nanotubes, nanoparticles, and enzyme molecules, we have developed field-effect transistors, digital logics, and sensors. We are also interested in microfluidic-supported systems with integrated sensing elements, as we believe that the innovations in microfluidics have given sensor technology new meaning and new opportunities.
