A clinical associate professor in Education Policy and Law at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Watt Lesley Black Jr. is an accomplished legal scholar interested in First and Fourteenth Amendment issues in public schools. He has researched and written extensively on the subject of affirmative action in both higher education and the PK-12 landscape and recently has been researching the boundaries of school authority in dealing with electronic forms of expression for both students and teachers.
