Wai Kwan (Elaine) Lau is an Assistant Professor in the College of Business. Elaine earned her Ph.D. in 2012 from the University of North Texas. Dr. Kwan earned her MBA in 2006 from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and her B.B. in 1994 from Hunan University, China.
Prior to working at Marshall University Dr. Lau was an Assistant Professor at Northeastern State University from 2011 to 2013 and as a Teaching Fellow/Adjunct at University of North Texas from 2007-2011. She was Director at Bon Resource Limited from 2003-2006, Trading Manager at Great Harvest Holding Ltd. From 2001-2003, and Chief Representative in Beijing Liaison at Shangxiang Minmetals Group from 1998-2000.
