Professor Creel clerked for Chief Judge Alfred P. Murrah of the United States Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit. He has served as executive assistant to Governor David Boren, vice-chair of the Selection Advisory Committee for the United States Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit, presiding judge of the Temporary Division of the Oklahoma Court of Appeals, and a member of a state task force to revise the rules of appellate procedure. With OCU LAW alumnus Bob Burke ’79, Professor Creel is the author of Oklahoma City University School of Law: A History. Professor Creel received his B.A. and J.D. (Order of the Coif) degrees from the University of Oklahoma and served as Editor of the Oklahoma Law Review. He teaches Civil Procedure, Conflict of Laws, and Legal History.
