Associate Professor
Dr. Viorel Pâslaru joined the faculty at the University of Dayton in 2007 after defending his dissertation on ecological mechanisms and their explanatory role. Prior to joining the faculty, he was an assistant researcher at the Institute of Philosophy of the Romanian Academy.
Dr. Pâslaru’s primary research interest is in philosophy of science and of ecology, with a particular focus on explanation in ecology.
