About Iván Esteban Villalón Turrubiates

My name is Iván Esteban Villalón Turrubiates, born in the city of Salamanca in Mexico.
I am a Doctor in Sciences in Electrical Engineering (2007, Remote Sensing Data Processing, CINVESTAV Jalisco); Master in Sciences in Electrical Engineering (2003, Digital Signal Processing, universidad de Guanajuato); and Mechanical Engineer (2000, Universidad de Guanajuato). IEEE Member (2005), IEEE Senior Member (2012) and IEEE Volunteer (2012).
My research work is in applications of signal processing to remote sensing and imaging. I published 3 papers in international scientific journals, 3 chapters in scientific books, and 29 papers in international scientific conferences on these topics. My research interests are in digital signal and image processing, and remote sensing applications.
Presently, I am with the Department of Electronics, Systems and Informatics (DESI) of ITESO (Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente) in the city of Guadalajara, Mexico.
