The paper developed a method for predicting the precipitation of heavy homogeneous dust particles in a laminar plane wind; almost all cases where analytical solutions are possible are investigated; options for calculation algorithms are proposed. Analytical results can serve as a rough estimate of pollution zones during the emission of heavy particles in the event of accidents at industrial facilities.
