Abstract

Free vibration is analyzed for thin-walled circular cylindrical shells constructed of composite materials and provided with ring and/or stringer stiffeners. Numerical results are presented for graphite-epoxy shells: unstiffened and stiffened with rings only, stringers only, and both rings and stringers. © 1993.
