Vicki’s research interests are in the areas of Emergency Nursing.  As a part-time Nurse Practitioner in the Emergency Department and full-time Assistant Professor for the School of Nursing, she has been involved in research and quality improvement initiatives ranging from Alcohol Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT), Early Pregnancy Loss Management, Family Presence During Resuscitation, HIV/STD Testing and Management, and EMS/Pre-hospital protocols.
