About Utpal Sagar, MD, FACC

Dr. Utpal N. Sagar is board certified in internal medicine, general cardiology, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology.  Dr. Sagar received his undergraduate degree from Nova Southeastern University, and he earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Thomas Jefferson University hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his cardiology fellowship at the University of Colorado in Denver and an Advanced Echocardiography fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland. He is the recipient of a number of awards and honors, and he has co-authored several book chapters and presented at national conferences.
