About Tyler N. Brown

Dr. Tyler N. Brown joined Boise State University in 2015, as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Director of the Center for Orthopaedic and Biomechanics Research. Previously, Dr. Brown was a Research Physiologist on the Biomechanics Team at the U.S. Army's Natick Soldier Research, Development and Engineering Center. Dr. Brown’s primary research focuses on assessing the impact body borne load has on soldier performance and injury risk. He received a Ph.D. in Kinesiology from the University of Michigan, a M.S. in Health and Human Development from Montana State University, and a B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of Puget Sound. Dr. Brown is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
