About Tuvana Rua

Tuvana Rua, Ph.D., is Assistant Professor of Management at Sacred Heart University. Prior to joining Sacred Heart University, she served as an adjunct faculty member at Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College and Westchester Community College.

Ms. Rua has extensive international business experience with a concentration in management and marketing. During the period she worked in the marketing field, she created, adapted and supervised marketing campaigns. During her tenure at EMEK, a marketing firm headquartered in Istanbul, Turkey, she facilitated the introduction of new products and foreign companies to the Turkish market. Prior to her position at EMEK, Ms. Rua served as the International Marketing Manager for Balnak Freight Forwarding, an international logistics organization located in Istanbul, Turkey. Ms. Rua also worked for governmental agencies in the US, including Massachusetts Department of Health and Rhode Island Health Department, in creating social marketing campaigns.

Professor Rua is advisor to the WCOB Business Administration Club.
