About Tricia Thomas, PhD, MSN, RN, FACHE, NEA-BC, ACNS-BCN, CNL

Dr. Tricia (Patricia) Thomas has been both assistant dean for practice and faculty with the Kirkhof College of Nursing since 2016. She was promoted to associate dean for practice in 2018. Her area of scholarship and interest is the role of the clinical nurse leader (CNL), including leadership, evidence-based practice and outcomes, care coordination and transitions, and interprofessional education. Her teaching includes clinical immersion and doctoral projects, and she has served as an advanced generalist clinical coordinator since 2017.
