About Todd Slesinger, MD, FACEP, FCCM, FCCP, FAAEM

  • Todd L. Slesinger completed his B.A. at the University of Chicago, and then spent seven years in Brooklyn attending medical school at SUNY Downstate and then completing his emergency medicine residency at New York Methodist Hospital. He then completed a fellowship in Trauma / Critical Care at the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center at the University of Maryland. From 2002 - 2015, he worked in the North Shore LIJ Health System. He was Faculty in the Department of Emergency Medicine at North Shore where he was the Director of the Critical Care Medicine Fellowship, as well as faculty in Medicine, Surgery and Neurosurgery. At present he is the founding Program Director for the Emergency Medicine Residency at HCA Florida Aventura Hospital in Aventura, Florida. He is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine and Critical Care at Florida International University - Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine.
