Abstract
James Speta’s thoughtful Robert F. Boden Lecture reminds us to look ahead to the possibilities of the future while drawing on the lessons of the past. This brief response to that lecture focuses on questions arising out of its invocation of the debates regarding the Telecommunications Act of 1996.
