Abstract
Numic languages constitute a major branch of the Uto-Aztecan language family. Despite more than a century of study, the Numic languages remain only moderately well described, with published reference grammars, dictionaries, and bodies of texts for just a few of them. The work under review here is therefore a welcome addition to these materials, representing a significantly revised version of an earlier publication (Givón 1980) and an important contribution to the documentation of a critically endangered language.
