About Tiffany Cone

Dr Tiffany Cone is an anthropologist and filmmaker from Aotearoa, New Zealand. She has carried out ethnographic fieldwork and produced a number of documentaries in China, the Pacific and South Asia. She holds a PhD in Cultural Anthropology from the Australian National University and a BA(Hons) in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Otago. In 2015, she was a Fellow with Filmmakers Without Borders. From 2016 to 2021 she was an Assistant Professor of Cultural Anthropology at the Asian University for Women in Chittagong, Bangladesh. She is now an Assistant Professor of Cultural Anthropology in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Zayed University, Abu Dhabi. Her research interests are in three primary areas: psychological anthropology, visual anthropology and higher education and pedagogy. ​See publications at https://orcid.org/0000-0003-2870-7051.
