Dr Thuan Thai is the Acting Assistant Dean in the School of Education, University of Notre Dame Australia. His teaching expertise is in mathematics and science education (primary and secondary). Thuan has taught at universities, pre-university foundation programs, high schools and also did a short stint in a primary school. Thuan has more than 15 years of experience as an education consultant, advising on mathematics curriculum and design for private colleges, and technology implementation projects in high school and universities.

Thuan's research interests include professional experience, development and identity, as well as the use of technology to enhance learning and teaching. In addition to being a teacher educator, Thuan is also a cardiovascular researcher and is a Visiting Fellow in the Department of Pathology, UNSW Australia.
