About Thomas Heffron, MD, FACS

Dr. Thomas Heffron is board certified in general surgery with certification in solid organ transplant and hepatobiliary surgery. Dr. Heffron was raised in Rapid City, South Dakota. Dr. Heffron attended Creighton University and graduated Magna cum laude with a degree in biology. Dr. Heffron then attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center for medical school and completed his general surgery residency at Creighton University Affiliated Hospitals. Dr. Heffron then completed a fellowship in hepatobiliary surgery, renal, pancreas and liver transplantation at the University Of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. He currently practices at SurgOne, P.C. and is executive director of surgery adult and pediatric transplant at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Hospital in Denver, Colorado.
