Abstract

This program is a practical course with concise lectures to prepare healthcare professionals to do global health care more intelligently in resource-limited areas. Topics include recognizing common parasites that cause tropical disease, using symptom-based diagnosis, self-reliance, problem solving and creativity in providing health care with minimal supplies and more.
